I wouldn't recommend using an SVT3 into a single Compact in a fairly loud rock band. I don't care what the claimed wattage is, all I'm interested in is the real-world performance (which is a complex blend of peak power, sustained power, frequency response, distortion profile, transient response and so on) and the SVT3 has been considered quiet for its rating since it was launched (and back then it was a high power head).
