Got this from my guitarist who decided to go for a HX Stomp (he liked the screen). I’ve been playing around with this at home and on some gigs and as a fly rig it’s ideally suited to the gigging bassist needs. I’d set it up with a 4 gigging tones all based on classic amp models and captures from clean to dirty and the ability to add eq, compression, drive and effects as well as the latest version 2 captures all sounding even better than the initial set of bass presets which already sounded great. The app interface is quite straightforward and very easy to navigate and it’s super easy to use. Very conflicted but can’t keep this one I’m afraid. I’d been powering it from the USB C off my pedal board power brick but also from a 9v 500mA out and as you can see in the pic a usb power bank too. Very handy! Make no mistake this is a cracking unit which a huge amount of bass players would get lots of fun out of live especially if you gravitate a to 3-4 sounds on a gig. I’d been using it for IEM and direct to desk/FOH and taking a second out with no cab IR to my amp. Worked flawlessly. As this is a unit which can capture you can do this at home or download from the cloud so a heap of options already available to experiment with. Price includes uk shipping only.
