This bow was made to order and is a lovely bow, wonderful crafted stick made of pernambuco, bow stamped GB Bows and is nickel silver mounted. Beautifully light weight at 126 grams light nimble and articulate and is very similar in characteristics to light weight bazin bows I have played in the past. The bow has a truly fantastic curve much and allows for fantastic articulation at the tip and tension in the hair however the stick is not ‘whippy’, This stick is incredibly agile and makes playing string crossings in Mozart a doddle and has great clarity and articulation if used for solo playing. This bow really works across the range of demands of a modern bass player at incredible value. Ideal for any bass player but particularly appealing to those at the start of their careers.
