Gig bag weights

Hi all, I am just wondering about a new gig bag. I am fully aware of all the options out there. But I am thinking about weights. And I though it would be a good resource to have a list of weights. Anyone care to weigh their empty gig bags? I will do the Protec Contego in a minute.

When I bought my Mono M80 gig bag it was the lightest of all the semi-rigid bags. Some of the "competition" were heavier than a Hiscox Liteflite hard case. 

 

At the time, all the serious contenders had the case weights included in the specs on their web sites.

All are really light.

Gator Pro Go X / Transit - 2.45kg / 5.4lb

TGI Extreme - 1.87kg / 4.1lb

 

Also the Gator Pro Go Deluxe guitar gigbag for the headless users - 3.1kg / 6.9lb

I've just snagged the TGI Ultimate for sale here so will give that a weigh on Thursday.

Mono M80 is 6.2lbs (2.8kg)

 

As well as being one of the lightest it’s also quite sleek/trim, whereas some of them are quite bulky.
