The LAKLAND Porn Thread

I just wanted to encourage those who had posted in this thread before the forum software change to repost your Laklands!!
We're obviously missing a bunch of lovely photos from before the software change happened, so would be great to get the visuals happening again in this thread :)

Whilst mine survive above, here they are again 😍:
Custom US 44-94 (passive P/J) & Skyline 55-01 (upgraded US Bart dual coils & NTMB pre).

How's the custom 44-94 treating you so far?

Yeah very well! Had it strung with flats for a bit, recorded well (on the new JoCee EP), but wasn’t quite right, so put some La Bella rounds back on and it’s awesome!

Very happy :)

I like that Pickguard Shaping. Is it custom made, or where can you buy these Kind of Pickguards?

I got it from ebay. US seller well known for their pickguards. Jeannies. Not sure if  they are still in business today as last time I heard the chap who is running it have passed away.

Roger passed away a couple of years ago, but the business is still trading under the same name on eBay, fxguitarman1. They made a very nice custom see-thru plate for my 55-94 a year or so back.

Short scale Hollowbody Skyline, on left of picture. Modified by previous owner with pan pot. Best short scale I've owned - indeed, quite possible the best bass of any scale length I've had.

I'm jealous, would love a Hollowbody30, or a Decade shortscale (US built only unfortunately).

I'm in Scotland and I bought one a while back on here, but have since sold it.

I paid more than £400 for it, so whilst I'm maybe not the 'idiot' quoted I'm still one for not knowing I could have got one for considerably cheaper than I recall paying...! 🙄🤪
