I am thinking about selling my Alembic Stanley Clarke Deluxe 5 String bass from 2013.

It is hardly used, there are no cracks, dings or dings, just minor signs of use. On the first sight it looks like new.

 

It has the following specs:

Short-Scale: 30 3/4''

Body Wood: Vermillion

Top Laminate: Coco Bolo

Accent Woods: Maple

Neck woods: Maple-Vermillion

Mother of Peal Inlays

Red Side LEDs

Hip Shot ultra lite tuners

Electronics: 2 AXY pickups, 1 Volume, 1 Pan, 2 Tone Filters, 2 Q Switches on/off, LED switch on/off

Including case 

 

I would consider (partial trades), just try! I am also interested in high-class amps or studio equipment.

 

I would prefer local pickup, but shipping might be possible at buyer's risk and costs.

Thankfully it’s a 5 string, so my GAS has abated. Lovely bass though.

Beautiful. Is this strung to a low B, or high C? 

 

Do you know what the string spacing is?

It is strung E - C.

The neck should be stable enough to strung it B - G, but short scale basses with a low B wouldn’t probably sound that good.

Phil Lesh has a short scale 6 string alembic so i guess that shows the B string will sound fine if you wanted to do that.

That SC bass is lovely. Coco bolo is one of my fave woods for basses.
