Here we have the chance to own a lovely Fender Precision Lyte Bass from around 1996-97.

Made in Japan and with an active circuit which produces that classic precision sound or give yourself an extra edge with the bridge pick up and a touch of treble.

Bass comes complete with a hard case and still has the plastic on the back of the control plate.

Previous owner had only used it as a passive bass with flatwounds on, i don't think he realised it was active.

Bass was stored for 15 years in its case hence its condition.

Electrics are fully working and a set up at Jacks in Manchester.

£750 and whatever postage and insurance the buyer wishes to pay for.

Thanks for looking

I have one of these. I got it especially for those longer gigs and even longer rehearsals. It is indeed very lightweight (or is it Lyteweight?).

The neck on mine is more like a Jazz neck - it's quite slim.

If I didn't already have mine- I'd be all over this.

Another happy Lyte owner here. Mine is identical, and is a great gigging bass.

Slim jazz neck, lightweight design and sounds great. These late models are

the best IMHO, with chrome hardware and more durable finishes than earlier

versions.
