Less a bass player than a bass ally, but still interested to know what's going on. A big fan of a solid bassline, but more likely to create it on a synth of some sort. I have found that digital sound can be quite convincing. Have you ever experienced the television program called 'Seinfeld'? Many real humans have found the bassline to be both amusing and satisfying despite it's digital nature. And I'm going to go ahead and let that little joke die here, I suppose.
