Ok, I’ll start.

Why do the band want you to play one bass? If it’s to avoid you spending time switching instruments during a gig, then it’s a good thing in my opinion. The momentum of a performance is easily lost if there is down time while someone changes an instrument.
As for which one to choose, my experience is that if you are playing the right notes in the right places and have an audible ‘bass’ sound the audience won’t give a damn what bass you’re playing. If you really can’t choose, why not take turns with each bass? Take the Ibanez to one gig, and the jazz to the next.

What do You mean with "i need some". Do You need the specifications - Both are fretless. Fender is 4 string alder body, maple neck, pao ferro fingerboard, 2 vintage single coil pickups, passive. Ibanez is hand made by Sugi guitars Japan, swamp ash body, 3 piece maple nech, ebonol fingerboard, bartolini bridge GWB soapbar pickup, active electronics treble/bass, 5 string.

I absolutely understand my rights, but these basses sound so different and they like bouth, but it just happened that they want to hear the one tone all the time and changing them in gig - scares them of hearing different things at the next song.

I wouldn't worry about the band wanting you to stick to one bass... it's probably doesn't make enough difference in sound to compensate for the disruption of flow in the set.

Just pick the best bass and stick with it. I can't advise which is the best bass, but the BC collective will advise you ( seems like they are saying Jazz).

Play the Fender. I gig and I take a Fender bass and a cheap jazz bass copy.

Personally, I can’t see any point in swapping between instruments unless I break a string or something. For most gigs I’d take one as they’re unlikely to break.

Unfortunately, my bass of choice is a Fender FSR in shell pink which somewhat polarises opinion.

I used to play a GWB35 in a band that covered a lot of genres. That bass was more than up up to the task, so I vote for your Ibanez. It has the extra string and is probably lighter than the Jazz Bass too, so easier to wear for an entire gig.

You sound like the band is there for you to showcase what you want.

Time to realise your a band and that includes other people you need to work together not do your own thing.

maybe lead guitar would suit you better 😄

I don't get why the OP is quoting himself and asking himself what he means?

(I guess just a language thing, but it did look strange at first sight!)

Was a bit confusing, yes!

I would just pick whatever bass you want to play, they will all sound the same to the audience so play the one you like.

Actually, a lot of songs i play a very lead on bass and they realy like what i play, they just prey me what to choose. I think the jazz bass is more universal and i will use it, but that doesn't mean that my gwb1005 is down and i will never touch it. No way, i really like it and there will be a lot chances for it in my future. Thanks for Your advices.

I am back. Last night i chaged my choice to Ibanez gwb1005. I played bouth gwb1005 and jazz bass for 3 hours in to my headphones, studio monitors and through my amp and decided that my Ibanez is better in tone, lighter, more frets and strings and a lot confortable to play, a lower string action. Everything was better for me and yes i will choose gwb1005. You were right - i had do it myself - decide. Thanks again for the advices.

Better in tone, lighter, more frets & strings, lower action & more comfortable to play, all excellent reasons to make the choice you did.
