Hi folks

Legend of an amp made in USA in 2005 in very clean condition and excellent working order.

Tube preamp FET power amp with 300W into 8 ohms, 550W into 4 ohms, 750W into 2 ohms (minimum load).

Balanced DI XLR out, Speakon and 6.5mm jack speaker outputs. Rack mountable but I don't have the original wings.

Super quiet fan inaudible in most settings.

Looking for £400 plus delivery/collection but will listen to reasonable offers.

Cheers

Absolute belter of an amp. I'm currently lugging the 800w version about (it's not light), but the creamy sound and massive headroom is hard to beat. Made in USA as well which is very preferable to the later far eastern incarnations.

Hi Tom .Could you please explain the 500 watt min @4ohms and the 960 @ 2.Rich .

The 960 by the power input socket will be the power taken from the mains supply, not the audio power output to the speakers.

Every time I absolutely go FRFR someone gives me a reason not too 😂 These are fantastic heads with a sound that can't really be beaten. Set it all flat and get on with it. The only thing you might want to twiddle is the magic enhance knob. I'll have trouble sleeping until this is sold! 😁
