For sale is my 1994 Fender MIJ Precision Bass.

 

This is a fantastic bass and I'm only selling as I need a 5 string as my band is doing a few 80's numbers (INXS Need You Tonight on a 4?  )

 

I purchased this from Bass Direct 3yrs ago and it originally had a mirrored scratchplate and roundwounds on it. 

The only changes I've made are replacing the scratchplate and fitting TI Flats on it as well as a pro set up by the 'Guitar Doctor' in Nantwich (Rich is a great bloke if you're fairly local to there btw)

 

I've done my best to photograph the paintchips and scrapes, but the neck is in great shape with no fret edges protruding and it plays like butter with the flats fitted.

 

There is no case included in the sale so I would rather local collection or at an agreed meeting point if the distance is acceptable.

 

I will accept a Charvel San Dimas JJ V as PX but not interested in anything else at this time sorry.

 

I've recorded a video to give you an example of how it sounds, it does fit perfectly in the mix within a band setting it has to said but I think that probably applies to all PBasses.

The screw on the bridge had just caught whilst I was re stringing to flats and i hadn't noticed ( think I was focusing on the framing of the pic etc  ) it is now all set up with the screw sitting correctly.

I don't sorry, when I took it for the pro set-up I sold it to the doc for his Iron Maiden obsessed bassist

 

...Oh, I do have a tortoiseshell scratchplate for it which I never fitted, that will be included in the sale!

 

You're welcome to come and try the PBass out for size if you're local enough?

I think this bass looks lovely and is a bargain.  Already have 5 P basses. Don’t think I can sneak another one through the door undetected otherwise I’d be all over this one. GLWTS
