Reggaebass Posted February 20, 2022 Share Posted February 20, 2022 Well this arrived yesterday, I’ve been looking for one for a while and a practically new condition one came up, not really been played, only tested and it still had the plastic on the pickups and tuning pegs , I have to say that the compound neck profile is amazing (not that I venture much up the dusty end 😁), it really feels great. T-Bay Posted February 20, 2022 Share Posted February 20, 2022 If the preamp is like the one on my ultra, then I find it is naturally heavy towards the top giving a brighter sound than in passive mode, I just dial up the lows and mids a bit at home, but keep the brighter sound live as it’s cuts through better. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It really does work incredibly well live though and I have had a lot of positive feedback on it. At home I like a bit more low down so just dial it in.
