The last one I went to was good but a bit bass-light, nothing really toasted my personal crumpet apart from the always-wonderful @Chownybass instruments. Last one before the first gig or the year....however with COVID on the march again......I had to cancel tomorrow's rehearsal as I tested positive this morning! Finally received a reply on Friday... a terse "No there will not be an alternative, the prize is a guitar" type of response that was fairly snotty in its tone.
