Single pickup passive non-Precision basses. Do new ones exist?

I can't find any, apart from the Les Paul JR DC. Add the J at the bridge and options open up... although in my case I want as few knobs as possible coz ain't got bwain for EQ and tweaking.

I'm not opposed to P-basses in the slightest, am just sure I'm missing something. Especially given the not-broken-don't-fix-it ubiquity of Precisions. It's almost like noone dare compete.

Sandberg is active I believe.

No single pickup BB that I can see, PJ only.

SUBs are active.

OLP no longer available.

Sandberg do a passive VS as well as the active one.

Musicman do 2

The Joe Dart - just a volume control

Mike Herrera (that has 3 knobs but they are dummies)

Of course they exist - you don't make any mention of budget or anything so for non Precision, single pickup, passive, available new basses:

Epiphone Jack Casady

G&L Kiloton (Tribute version also available)

G&L CLF L-1000

You also don't mention scale, so shorties include

Fender Mustang

G&L Fallout (Tribute version also available)

Guild Starfire I

Gibson Les Paul JR DC which you already mentioned.

There are bound to be countless others.
