Apparently he's checking the tone difference in diiferent positions, rather than demoing Dimarzios Not sure how useful this is, as its just one make of pickup , but hey. TBH I’m quite surprised at just how different the settings sounded - I heard at least 6 very usable sounds and I love the versatility of my Big Al. The Burning Earth Lakland was originally equipped with 6 Chi-Sonic singlecoils, oddly enough with just 5 (hidden) on/off switches. In the picture above it appears to have Bartolini J's, and I can only see one miniswitch.
