Though I do love the BEF too. Big discovery after I recorded this is to play the BEF with my bass’s tone rolled off, sounds wicked. The Microtron’s envelope follower is lovely and smooth, no warble, a gooey long decay but quick retriggering. I’m actually going to Sheffield quite a lot for band jamming so I’ll let you know when we’re planning the next one.
