I've suddenly found myself with 6 amps and one cab, so time to thin the herd! This is a great sounding amp with a nice and simple EQ section that sounds great pretty much however you have it.

Got to use one of these at rehearsals last night and I thought it was a great sounding amp! 

 

Plenty of volume paired with the Orange 212 cab, and that was playing with a very loud drummer and two guitarists... In fact, they asked me to turn down.. 😁

 

As the OP has said, the eq etc is very straightforward to use and to my ears at least, it just sounded really good!
