NickD Posted November 20, 2021 Share Posted November 20, 2021 I use their nickel rounds on my Jake 5, because that's what it came with, it sounded good, and there aren't many strings in the same gauges that I'm keen on (125-45, evenly spread). I'm usually quite picky with my strings but it's an expensive month and I want a full setup doing on the bass so plumped for a set of these. They won't be on my main bass so hoping I get good longevity from them. I've done quite well with "value" strings recently so fingers crossed the Maruszczyk flats sound good on a Jack Casady that gets used infrequently Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
