This model is considered as one of the best P/J basses out there. Now discontinued, it was carefully made in Japan by mister Kobayashi, and cost 2.900€ new. It is in excellent condition. Comes with its original Yamaha hardshell case and all the certificates. Weights a light 4.1kg 40mm nut width Fingerboard radius 10" (250mm) Nickel silver frets D'addario EXL160 strings : nickel wound 50 . 70 . 85 . 105 Alder/ maple body and quartersawn maple / mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard IRA and ARE treatments do the job : endless sustain and great response as on a vintage bass. The pickups are superb, the 3 way switch allows an uncompromised Precision sound, a more compressed P/J tone, and even the J is useable on its own. Only selling this as I have a BB1200s and have found a BB2024MX (Oooooooooooh !!!!) with a maple board. This is truly one of the best basses I've played, but I can not justify keeping it. Asking for 1450€ / £1250 Based in Northern France. Shipping at buyer's cost, safely packed and insured. I know there are extra charges between the EU and the UK, sorry for that.
