1990 I believe - below are screenshots of the 1990 Yamaha Brochure.

 

Good overall condition given the age.

Good quality and plays nicely like most Yammies do, with a medium, nice easy playing action.

 

A few scars on the body and neck, commensurate with the age and use.  

Clearly not a pristine bass.

Being critical - I'd  say the pots are somewhat of a bit of a weak link as often found on basses of this price point from this age.

Set up is PJ with Volume / Balance / Tone.

That model was my first ‘quality’ Bass (after a couple of Aria’s with bendy necks haha). Loved that thing 🤘🏼
