19” shallow rack case 5U
£45
Wells Somerset

Recommended Posts

Solid 19” 5u rack case. Scratched but good working order. 20cm deep so no good for full size items. No make on there but I think it is SKB. Really useful handle on side and feet on bottom and side.

Purchased in this condition around 12 years ago from basschat and kept at home

£45 plus postage (£15? But will check)

perfect for a rack mountable bass amp

I also have some nice synths for sale that used to be kept in here

Would this be better placed in the amps for sale forum?

I don't think so, as it's not specifically for amps.

It's a shame you're not near me (Berkshire), or I'd have it for some synth units.

@prowlanice looking setup. Is that Moog bass synth?

I am sure some digital amps would fit in this rack too, as long as they have ears 🙂

Cheers!

Yep - a Minitaur.

Next to it are two Roland JV-1010 synth units; on has an Orchestral expansion card in it and the other a Vintage Synth.

The one at the top is a Peavey Spectrum Bass, which has some spectacularly good sounds.

That picture was taken at the last South East Bass Bash (2019!).

I've since swapped out the Peavey (weird 15V AC power supply) for a Novation Bass Station.

I've since picked up a Bartolini 4-way pickup for a Rickenbacker bass which should tie-up with a Roland GM-70 bass to MIDI converter which needs a rack to sit in.

(I've no idea what I'd actually do with it once I get it working, but that's a separate matter!)
