Not sure about this, but have something on the way, and should probably stick to the numbers I have at the moment haha. Plus my passive US 44-94 basically does the same job.

Lakland USA 44-64 Classic in a Black/Black/Maple vibe. Also comes with white and grey tortoiseshell pickguards options.

In excellent condition, no nicks or bumps that I can see. Currently setup and playing beautifully with La Bella RX Steels 45-105

Comes with the original Lakland Hardcase.

Full spec - https://www.lakland.com/product/classic-series-44-64/

Nut width is: 1.75″
Weight is: 3.86kg

Priced to sell at £1700 £1650

Cash is king - However I could be open to part-ex's of a lesser value, around £700 or less, with cash my way of course.

Some ideas might be:

- Lakland Skyline 44-64, 44-60 or DJ4 (not sunburst or maple f/b, or too heavy)
- Lakland Hollowbody 30 (the little shortscale one)
- Lakland 55-01 in Vintage Creme/Rosewood

- Lakland J-Sonic 5 in Aztec Gold
- Huntington Supro Shortscale (not sunburst)
- Nordstrand Acinonyx
- Ibanez TMB35 (the shorty 5 string)
- Fender Classic 50's (MIM) Lacquer Precision in Blonde
- Fender Japan Precision of some description (not sunburst)
- I mean.....try me with any Precisions to be honest.
- Maybe something from a Yamaha BB series....maybe
- G&L (nothing blue)
- Musicman Stingray 4 string (although I appreciate this might need to stretch my £700 cap slightly)

Absolute beauty!

I would have snapped your arm off a week ago but I've just placed an order on a new Wilcock bass, I really don't think I can justify this too!

GLWTS, should fly off the shelf!

@Sibob - That looks a cracker. Is it the standard 1.6” nut width?

This is the straight 44-64, so it's 60's spec at 1.75″ (now added to the original post for clarity)
The '44-64 Custom' is the 1.6" I think

44-64s come with 1.75” (standard), 1.625” (“‘tweener”) or 1.5” (jazz) nut widths.

The Lakland website is pretty diabolical, there’s been all sorts of customs runs and Ltd editions etc.

For a while they were offering any colour options on the Classics (which typically are just sunburst I think!?).

Very nice. The necks on these are meant to be great!

Was this a custom order? The Lakland website doesn’t seem to list black as a standard colour.

I just looked and although black doesn't appear in the scrolling colour options at the top of the page, it is one of the 17 colour options available for the USA 44-64 Classic.
