Nitro finish and sharpy pen šŸ˜”

I have a nitro finished les Paul which a child drew on with what I can only assume is a sharpy pen.Ā

Itā€™s not scratched the surface of the finish but Iā€™d like to try and remove it as itā€™s an AAA top šŸ¤£Ā

Any ideas what might get it off without removing the finish please ?

Are you crazy, Mick ? It's a nitro finish and acetone (or nail varnish remover) will remove it too ! Don't ever do this to a nitro finish !!!

Most children are light enough to lift off of a surface without assistance.Ā  If it is an exceptionally heavy child seek help from another adult.

ā€You may have to polish it out with car polish , I use auto glym just there regular polishā€

ā€œThink itā€™s called resin polishā€
