stingrayPete1977 Posted October 18, 2021 Share Posted October 18, 2021 I tried everything with my bass including foam plugs then finally gave up and fitted a Schaller mag pickup, people said it would just sound like a P Bass, it doesn't. Best thing I ever did and no problem with my shoddy playing. Yep this was similar to my experience too except I got a Krivo. Recent post covid rehearsals have been in a boomy empty hall which created lots of feedback problems. But once I fitted the pickup it worked fine - its such a relief to plug in and turn up to a suitable volume. It sounds enough like a db to keep the rest of band happy.
