Nice! Just tried day with my Helix and it works well for that Scientist sound.

I’ve never really used any pedals, but that does look and sound great, my only pedal’s are a tuner and the sansamp VTbass , which I don’t use much as I’m all valve now

I don't often find much use for effects in Reggae other than mild compressor, EQ, and perhaps a little bit of tube overdrive/amp sim colour but I quite like mucking about with occasional reverb and delays for dubby stuff to do things like that Scientist sound.

I like that Don's video flashes up a warning 'don't use this effect too much - you're supposed to be holding down the low end'!

I was playing some Tristian Palmer last night and i noticed in the version at about 7.45 it sounds like that effect is being used , it sounds really good and works well with this Bassline
