thebrig Posted May 1, 2021 Share Posted May 1, 2021 I'm thinking of buying a neck from Stewmac which has a rosewood board, will it be subject to CITES, and if so, who is responsible, the seller or the buyer? Apparently it's the buyer's responsibility, but I'm still a bit confused because I came across this which clearly states that a guitar is now exempt, but what about a finished neck? "As of November 26 2019, CITES laws on rosewood have been lifted. Travelling with this wood no longer requires a permit.
