All the girls in my year at school had a thing for the Bay City Rollers when I was a kid. They were everywhere for a while...then along came The Sex Pistols...

RIP

Lest we forget..

Sad to hear this, even though I was never a Bay City Rollers fan. 65 is no age these days.

I never particularly liked any of their music, but it's always very sad to hear things like this. No age really.

The bass player, Alan Longmuir was a plumber, and fitted a new kitchen sink in my parent's house just before they made it big.

Funnily enough my first girlfriend (and now wife) was a fan, had the tartan trimmed trousers and saw them play at least half-a-dozen times.

That Tom Paton bloke who managed was well dodgy. Does anyone know if they could play.Great trousers though. Poor Les got ripped off I think.
