Light string options for Dingwall 4 string

Hi everone

I'm taking delivery of a dingwall NG2 4 String next week. I really like light strings on my bass ideally 35-95 or there about. Has anyone any experience of lighter strings on this type of bass I.e. long scale with fanned frets.

If so, what variety have you gone for. I spotted the HI-Beams and Elite Stadium strings day are quite long but I'm not sure if long enough. I may just end up going for the dingwall strings but they are heavier gauge than I'd ideally like.

Any advice much appreciated.

I prefer 35s but as @JohnR says it is harder to get the ones I want.

Not a fan of Rotosounds. You can still get 35-95s from Status for around £15, and you can get the same gauge from Alice (Chinese) on eBay. Inexpensive rather than cheap - they do last, keeping their tone and feel.

As a Dingwall 4-string owner (and previous Newtone user), I'd say Newtone would be a good go-to, just to make sure you get the winding length for the longer E.

I've got Elixirs on mine, the length is fine, but I dunno if you'd get the gauge as light as you want...
