Your most listened-to live album?

Had to consult my last.fm stats for this, top three are 801 Live, Simple Minds 5x5 and Camel A Live Record.

But that's just totting up number of tracks listened to. I suspect we can add Genesis Seconds Out/Live/Three Sides Live, Rush Exit Stage Left, assorted Magma (probably Theusz Hamthaak trilogy), Steven Wilson Get All You Deserve, Yesshows, Bowie Stage, Peter Gabriel Secret World Live.

and the first record I ever bought, Talking Heads Stop Making Sense

Good call.

Possibly sacrilegiously I prefer Loco Live.

It's a better recording, it covers more of their back catalogue and the Ramones sound like they did the one time I was fortunate enough to see them live in around 1993.

IMO the latter day Ramones ruined the live act by speeding up to much🙁 - what d’ya reckon?

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Live in Paris

They're a band who are far better live than on records.

Queens Of The Stone Age - Live in London

Actually recorded in Bristol, I know, I was there. It was one of the last club tours they did and they absolutely destroyed it.

Mine has got to be Rush's A Show Of Hands.  Been listening to that baby since I was about 19, and it's still a regular now, decades later.

Honourable mentions:

Iron Maiden - Live After Death - played through 2 cassette copies of that in my youth, but I haven't played it regularly in years.

Scorpions - Worldwide Live - Still an occasional listen....

Now you’re talking....

Worldwide Live and Live After Death were mainstays of my musical upbringing, along with Kiss’s Alive 2. Probably know them all note for note.

Everything Everything by Underworld, proving some electronica/techno bands can cut it live

Stop Making Sense by Talking Heads - where several tunes here kick the ar$es of the studio originals

At Budokan by Cheap Trick - where all the tracks kick the studio versions into touch

What Do You Want From Live by The Tubes - surprise surprise...ditto the above

Live One by Tommy Emmanuel - of course TE is in his element live but this comes a good second
