Weight please?

Using our bathroom scale, I weighed myself with and without the bass, and the weight difference was ranging between 3.8Kg and 3.9Kg.

Yep - this is one of them - these MFD’s are OK - I just don’t like the big MM type MFD

What's the control layout? One of the pots looks stacked, so perhaps vol/tone, and a pan pot?

Thanks.

2 volumes, one for each pickup, no tone control. Takes a bit of getting used to but you can coax some nice tones. Its almost my favourite bass.

Hi!

Here are the controls:

- Stacked volume knobs for the neck (top) and bridge (bottom) pickups

- Tone control knob

Also, you click on the above hyperlink (on my topmost post) for the YT video of the specs... alternatively, here’s the link:

Very nice, I like it. Last year of the 3-bolt necks, still has a lot of the old G&L character before they became, for me, a bit too generic.

Very reasonable price, too; good luck with a sale.

What’s the nut width?

Cheers.

When I searched for “g&l sb-2 nut width” on the internet it states 1.5”

I will measure the nut when I get home.
