Surplus Allparts fretless jazz neck.

Fingerboard is really dark, might be ebony or maybe just w very dark rosewood.

The headstock front wants refinishing but it plays really well.

Comes with a set of no name tuners which have served well

Hi Mike,

A few questions on this:

What are the markers on the side for this - as for a fretted bass, dots at the 3,5,7,9, 12 etc fret positions, something else?

How's the truss rod?

What's the nut width and neck shape?

Any fingerboard wear? Hard to see from the pictures...

Can you confirm no twists, humps, ski-jump issues?

White dot markers at positions 3,5,7,9,12,15,17,19

Truss rod adjusts ok, no significant fingerboard wear, you can see the string lanes but there’s no indentations. Certainly no nasties.

Nut width is 38mm and it’s a nice slim C profile.

Hey Mike, just checking, are the dots where the frets would be (I think this is the case on an Allparts fretless neck), or between where the frets would be as they would be on a fretted neck?
