Selective blocking...

Question

I love this forum, but I feel like, at the moment, I'm likely to get in an argument with someone in the local, and would rather not but can't help but browsing. Would it be possible to be blocked from access to General and Off Topic, but still contribute to the rest of the forum?

You can set up your own activity feed and select the forums you want to include in your search. For example all new posts since last visit, every forum except off topic.

When you select the filters choose ‘topics’ (that’s that they call forums for some reason) and choose there.

I’ll show you tomorrow if you can’t work it out.

I've put a couple of members on my ignore list from time to time, it's a good option when you know someone tends to annoy you and you just want a chilled browse of the forum.

I'm not sure you can be blocked from accessing just two subforums but... isn't it easier just to not click on those subforums? 🤔
