I hadn’t before, but just tried my P Bass and get what you might be feeling. I like the strings, but the gauges are bonkers - works for me though on some basses. I can’t imagine they’re going to budge a P Bass neck at all, whereas the necks on my basses are far slimmer, so the tension would likely feel greater.
