I had the string only for one week on my bass. Max. playing time 3-4 hours.

For my french bass they are (for my taste) a bit too mid-frequency emphasized. I think they would work great for dark basses to feature the mid frequencies and the high frequencies to get a nice pizz tone. They do supply a nice bassy tone. Imho not suited well for arco.
