fleabag Posted December 2, 2020 Share Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) A while ago i was on the hunt for some alternative round wound nickel over round core strings, and being as i have previously liked DR Sunbeams, i thought i'd see what else was out there. Found GHS boomers round wound over round cores, but couldnt find any in the UK from the usual suspects, but did find some on Amazon UK, but posted from the USA. That was the 3rd Nov order date. I ordered 2 packs. One pack turns up today, and on the note inside ze jiffy bag, it says the other order will follow on. I assume the order was from the same company so wondering why they didnt put the other pack of strings in the same jiffettski bag ? I suppose it could be that i'd purchased the last set of those strings, and now have to wait for the USA dealer ( or indeed USA Amazon ) to send another pack. I guess they looked at the order and realised they'd still be in profit even with the costs of shipping the second package, so decided not to cancel the order.
