Fender Squier P - Bass Special PJ Bass Guitar from 1999 with Gig Bag in good used condition with several marks and blemishes.

This is from the Standard Series, not the Affinity range.

This P Bass - Special answers the age old question of wether to purchase a Precision Bass, or a Jazz Bass having both P & J pickups. This pickup configuration provides a wide range of tonal options and sounds superb as the P pickup offers the Classic Precision ‘thump’ and the Jazz pickup adds clarity, definition and ‘growl’ when required to cut through the mix.

The Bass has been nicely set up with a low action, a new set of light gauge strings have just been fitted & comes complete with a lightweight Gig Bag.

The three controls are P pickup volume, J pickup volume and a Master tone control, which goes from an old school sound through to a more modern Hi - Fi tone.

Another great advantage to the ‘PJ’ configuration is that although the body is a Classic Precision shape, the neck is based on the slimmer, more manageable Jazz Bass width neck, to give improved playability.
