Tori Amos' Winter puts me slightly on edge all the way through and I find myself almost holding my breath until the chorus begins with a sigh of relief. But the tense feeling soon builds again until the beginning of the next chorus. 

It's a beautifully sad song.

In terms of music that resolves perfectly we should never forget Wagner's Tristan and Isolde, an opera which drags on for lasts three hours and fifty minutes and never, ever resolves to the tonic until the very last chord (and even that's a bit ambiguous in some peoples' opinion).
