Honourable mentions must also go to my SVT 8x10 and SWR Henry the Eighth 8x8 which I would buy back in an instant ( if I had any gigs of course).

Those would be my Number 1 and 1A had both;  but now 35lbs max; at this time using Markbass CMD 121P [with NY 121 just in case. hasn't been needed yet]

But getting the itch to try Barefaced or GRBASS Aerotech 25lbs for 2x12 or 33lbs for 4x10 worth a listen

Barefaced Big Baby 2 from what I am told [by them😀] can compete with a 2x12 or 4x10 ; then there is always the Super Twin at 37lbs [cloth]

Amp's to drive Cab';  Take a listen to Mesa D-800, Markbass Vintage D2, GK Legacy/Fusion, Ashdown ABM 600, GRBASS One 800, Fender Bassman 800HD, Orange OB1-500 to start😀 [CMD 121P and NY 121 should sell quickly.]

Think it’s been dependent on what genre of music I’ve been playing. I used to play a lot of reggae and went through many, many, many, cabs but the one that I felt really did it was a Warwick 6x10” - much more heft than its Ampeg equivalents.
One that really surprised me when playing in a functions band was a Markbass 4x6” thing...can’t remember the model but it defied science keeping up in an 8 piece and being super light. Must also give a shout out to the Genz Benz Neox 2 - awesome allrounders, as was the Eden 4x10’s but those weighed the same as a large bull.

I spent 2015-18 with 2 SC's. Then 2019 with an SM and SC. In 2020 I was going to be using an SM and BB2. I guess that'll have to wait until next year. You are right, unbeatable sound.

I absolutely love my BB2.  It easily covers most of my gigs but when I have a bigger gig I use the SM on top of the BB2 and Gawd, what a sound.  I have no doubt whatsoever that you'll love it.

My favourite cab is my Barefaced Big Twin II.  I go for a clean sound with the ability to handle a heavy bottom end and that cab does it with ease. For smaller gigs I have a Big Baby II and when I really want more bottom end I add the Dubster II to the mix.

For me it’s the Ashdown RM 610, easy enough to cart around and a good sound too.

Previously  owned a Marshall 4x10, Marshall Vba412, Marshall Vba810, Ampeg 410he, Ampeg Svt 410hlf, Ampeg 610hlf, Ampeg 810, Gallien Krueger 210RBH, Ashdown Mag 410, Ashdown Abm 410, Peavey 410tvx, Peavey 115bw.

I think over all of these the Ashdown RM610 blows them all out of the water for balance, heft and punch.

The best speaker cabinets I have ever used are my Acme B2 2x10 three way cabinets. I have a pair of Series one and a pair of Series two. All are 4Ω impedance which suits my 2Ω capable power amps down to the ground! :)

They are capable of handling a Low B at volume. I stack them on their ends for a vertical 4x10.
