Spector Euro 4 LX in Black & Blue matte finish. Immaculate condition. This cost me a quid under two grand, i had this up for a trade but got my mits on a 70's Jazz last weekend so now it's for sale only. I've been asked why i'm selling the reason being athritis has got the better off my left hand. I'm quite happy to meet half way anywhere in the UK or i can post at your cost i really don't mind. Being a tight Jock i'm firm on the price tho....anyway cheers for having a nose

Bass weighs in @ just over 8 1/2 pounds according to kitchen scales. Now as has been pointed out this bass only recently became available in the UK thru Bass Direct & is an LX model where i had it as an LT....sorry for any confusion and cheers to @Eldon Tyrell for pointing that out...cheers

Does this bass have a thinner neck than the 2005 Euro LX?

I believe the neck profile is the same on the new euro models as they always have been, at least on the 4 string models.
the Wimbish model has a narrower nut, but that’s the only model that has this. The Ian hill as a thinner neck (front to back) than standard, but otherwise I believe they are all the same give or take. I find the gloss necks always feel a little thicker to me.
@cetera May be able to answer more accurately than me.

I was almost through typing this and then double checked them on the strength of Ceteras comments above.

My experience is that Euro neck profiles (on neck through basses) are not the same.

I have just checked 3 x Spector Euros and they are distinctly different profiles.

2005 Euro LX Quilt - Slimmest profile of these 3 - quite slim indeed compared to other Euros I;ve had previously too.

2012 - Euro TW - Certainly a thicker profile to the above

2016 - 40th Anniversary  - thicker still - admitted the thick poly coat will account for some of the change in size but again certainly a different overall shape to the neck.

 - Slightly off topic, but Rebops are slimmest of the lot.
