Wilco 175 Posted September 19, 2020 (edited) I’ve used these many times over the years on different instruments always to good effect. I’m in the process of restoring a Westone Thunder 3 to it’s former glory & the fret board when I got it was particularly horrible. See pic - bottom two frets as they were, top three cleaned with the Planet Waves sheets. Ok, a lot of elbow (I mean finger) grease went into the job, but great result I reckon. Whole board now done. Not bad for around £7 - 8 & a bit of effort. Edited September 19, 2020 by Wilco 1
PaulThePlug 368 Posted September 19, 2020 Shiney... makes such a difference. Lets have a pic of the whole bass? I use a dremel with a small polish mop, and a dap of Autoglym... Then the Dunlop lemon oil on the fret board.

Appreciate, there are alternative fret cleaning methods. And yes, said fretboard was lemon oiled with Dunlop 65. Made a huge difference too.

BlueMoon 235 Posted October 27, 2020 Well done. Certainly looks the part. @Wilco Your pic also speaks to my inner OCD with the cases all nicely lined up in the background.
ped 6,250 Posted October 27, 2020 Looks great, I should think it's highly satisfying too
Jono Bolton 115 Posted October 29, 2020 Good to see the end result, I've been thinking about picking one of these up for a while.
