What annoys me most about the channel is how damn effortlessly good you are.

Harumph.

Lol! If you only knew the amount of FAILED takes I did on each video before I managed to do a clean pass....

The last time I tried for a completely clean take of a song, I ended up recording the audio with multiple drop ins and miming on the vid.

I mimed so badly - that didn't even work.

Get The Funk Out was a treat.  Fab bass line , so well done sah :)

I concur. Also loved Sir Duke, as I find it interesting seeing how different people approach the line plus I could hear some of the fills far more clearly :)

Voulez Vous reminds me of just what an accomplished musician Rutger Gunnarsson was and thanks to your great cover his, and your, brilliance lives on.

Thank you.... and though I heartily agree re: Rutger, the Voulez Vous bassline was actually recorded by Arnold Paseiro.

Idea - is it worth having a pinned post with a sort of directory of all members youtube channels?

With a lack of gigs there seem to be more of them now and it would be great to find them in 1 place.

@ped What do you think?

Pinned posts get ignored and aren't maintained so I don't think so - probably best to keep your own channel thread or signature updated and get people to follow it in YT.

Great work @cetera!! and thank you for sharing.

So many great selections and you've nailed all of them (including Rio with a plectrum).

Agreed, and played on a Hagstrom Super Swede for added authenticity :)
