During the concert (open air, in a courtyard...), only the vocals went through the PA; the rest was easily heard without any assistance. We found it funny, that he got us to 'sound check', then had to turn all his faders down to zero..! For the record, that amp is a Hiwatt DR203, 200w valve amp (4 x KT88...). These were used after WWII to destroy concrete defence bunkers along the coast, using only sonic waves. No, it didn't need mic'ing up..!
