Designed at the Bass Centre in collaboration with Elvis Costello and the Attractions Bassist, Bruce Thomas, to replicate as closely as possible, the Fender Precision that he played on all the hits but had subsequently been sadly stolen. It’s in excellent condition as can be seen from the photos below and comes with it’s original padded gig bag. It’s a relatively light 7.9lbs with a slim, satin finished neck, somewhere between a Precision and a Jazz neck, topped with an ebony fretboard. Frets are beautifully finished making it a joy to play. Only thing of note to mention are the plugged screw holes on the back of the headstock where Gotoh tuners were fitted in the past (pictured below) I’ve also included a couple of videos that I’ve recently recorded to give you an idea of how it sounds It’s collection only I’m afraid although I’m willing to travel up to 40 miles from my DY3 home address to meet the buyer. Really sounds like the vintage Fender's I had, but with a bit more definition in the notes. A total success.
