It’s a lovely black and maple US 2005 Precision with a ‘62 reissue pickup and comes with original bridge which I asked for to be returned to stock when I bought it. There is a Hipshot D-tuner installed by the original owner who also replaced the S1 switching with a standard tone pot, the presumably white scratchplate was replaced with a WD one. The bass comes with a Fender gig bag. I was hoping it would be much lighter than my old Fender Precision however at 4.3kgs it isn’t (mine is 4.4). Having played it for a few hours and mulled it over there’s not much point me keeping it for the sake of the tiny weight difference. So it’s back for sale. As I bought it with gigbag rather than Hiscox case and with the original bridge I’m selling it for what I paid at £700. It really is a beautiful bass and plays really well but I think I’m going to have to stick with sub 4kg basses owing to my recent shoulder and neck issues. No trades. UK only. Pickup preferred. Sold!
