There is an unintentionally hilarious video of me with The Junkyard Dogs, spectacularly failing to play the ever so simple lead guitar line on Come Together... 😖

Haha , ive been in that situation , songs i can play perfectly then suddenly at a gig the nerves kick in and it all goes south

I think I was also guilty of owning this at the time. In my defence, I would have been about 14 and easily impressed by this sort of thing. The people who made it, however, were grown adults.

Likewise! I think I was 13... I knew no better.

I'll see your Vinnie Vincent and raise you two Michael Jacksons.

"What's all that noise outside? What is that terrible smell?"
"It looks like the dead have come back to life, love."
"What are they doing?"
"They're dancing at some terrified young one, love. One of them looks a bit like that Michael Jackson. Go back to sleep."

Anyway, here's something fabulously groovy - it's the Beach Boys from 1963

Mike Love certainly has some unfortunate mannerisms (2nd from right) which make you wonder where his carers are.

And their Mums come along for some groovy dancing at 1.40 !   Fab!

You'll have to click on this as it can't be embedded. but it's worth it.

Wow - the Venom video is pure Spinal Tap

And as for the Ancient video, every metal cliche is there, including the goat.

I used to bloody love Angel.

I did buy one of their albums to be fair and altho it was a bit cheesy they were actually a good band. It was just all the theatrics i found a bit overboard which surprises me cause i was an earl Kiss fan up until they went disco / pop. Kiss Destroyer era was my fav Kiss

As much as I love the Crue, there are quite a few to choose from. But in terms of the thread title, the Crue being 'inspired' by Big Trouble in Little China, and as for the 'fight' scene 🤣

To paraphrase Beavis and Butthead

"This video tells a story"

"That sucks"

Seen them at the Reading festival in the 80's. They were incredibly cool and sounded magic!
