binky_bass Posted July 13, 2020 Share Posted July 13, 2020 (edited) I've been musing over some of my basses and thought that a thread dedicated to a photo of your favourite bit of wood on your favourite bass would be quite cool! A few minor ground rules: The photo must be a bass or a guitar you own. It must be a photo taken by you. It must show ONLY WOOD! No hardware, pickups etc. Just wood! Minor light editing allowed, no major photoshopping! Name your instrument and the wood (if you can!) Keen to see what crazy examples show themselves! Here is my submission: 'Space Worm'. meterman Posted July 13, 2020 Share Posted July 13, 2020 Here's mine: "Maple wood with some darker wood" It's a 1984 MIJ Squier Bullet bass that is black with a maple neck which has a stripe of darker wood on the back of it. It's the colour of wood. I only own one bass so it's all I've got to work with. Maybe turning it sideways would make it seem artier?
