Typical. You wait for ages for Happy Jack to sell a Radial unit, and then three come along at once.

I love Radial kit, and I have lots of it. In fact, I have rather more than I need.

These three units have all led calm, pampered lives in luxurious surroundings, rarely asked to do even a fraction of what they can manage. They are all pristine, as new, and uncontaminated EXCEPT the Mix Blender which benefits from a sublime application of the finest velcro that money can buy.

Like all Radial kit, these units are engineered in such a way that a tank could drive over them without damage. Well, to the tank anyway.

Let's kick off with

RADIAL BIGSHOT I/O True Bypass Instrument Selector - £70

What does it do? What is it for? What is my excuse for buying it?

Best read https://www.radialeng.com/product/bigshot-io and https://www.thomann.de/gb/radial_engineering_tonebone_bigshot_i_o.htm, both of which relate to the current (slightly more colourful) model but which are otherwise pretty much identical.

We now move on to the

RADIAL TONEBONE MIX BLENDER - £140

*** RADIAL MIX BLENDER SOLD ON EBAY ***

What does it do? What is it for? What is my excuse for buying it?

Best read https://www.radialeng.com/product/mix-blender and https://www.thomann.de/gb/radial_engineering_tonebone_mix_blender.htm

And going off in a slightly different direction, we finish with the

RADIAL PRO48 Active Direct Box - £70

*** RADIAL PRO48 SOLD ON EBAY ***

What does it do? What is it for? What is my excuse for buying it?

Best read https://www.radialeng.com/product/pro48 and https://www.thomann.de/gb/radial_engineering_pro_48.htm

All prices include UK delivery, but it's always nicer to meet other Basschatters for a face-to-face handover.

I'm in Harrow (NW London) and I'm happy for buyers to come here to test things before they buy (and play with my toys if they like), or to meet up within a reasonable distance by car or on the Piccadilly Line.

I'm looking for a Radial JDI...

I have one of those too. Wasn't particularly looking to move it on, but on t'other hand it's not getting a lot of use these days.

If you're interested, drop me a PM. :)
