How Rare is Rare ?

A Gordon Smith ‘Gypsy’ Bass and even rarer, a custom made  ‘Left Hand’ Gordon Smith ‘Gypsy’ bass !

Cherry Sunburst, Brazilian Mahogany, Rosewood fingerboard, Straight through neck, Schaller tuners, Brass nut. Serial no:-01295 manufactured in 1983

Gordon Smith guitars did not make many basses and just concentrated on guitars so there are not many of these around. Left handed versions were to custom order only

The finish and condition of this guitar is absolutely MINT with a deep red luster !

Each string has an individual pickup, which can be rotated to line up the magnets either in-line or either side of the string giving more tonal/power options. A unique Gordon Smith designed and hand made pickup system.

Please review photos carefully as they form part of the description. We are happy to provide more photos on request.

A one owner guitar who rarely played it and was stored away correctly for many years. Comes with original hard case.

A very rare, hand built, high quality instrument, significantly increasing in value due to its extreme rarity and pristine condition, for the Collector, Investor, Stage Player.
