Warwick Streamer LX bolt-on - 1997

That time of the decade for me to have a clear out.

Solid 2 piece centre jointed Maple body with wenge neck and wenge fingerboard.  Body is in fair condition for 23 years old; a few scrapes, light rash and dings but nothing structural at all, all cosmetic.  Not a baseball bat neck, in fact quite slim with a headstock volute for strength.  Hardware has minimal tarnishing from 23 years of use.  Just over 9lb 2oz in weight.

MEC pups and pre, all original inc brass JAN I nut (none of those silly plastic jobbies here).  No neck break, no truss rod faults, no electrical issues.

Comes with a Warwick gigbag

Extras - can swap gigbag to a Generic hard case for £20 extra or a Hiscox case for £40.

Apart from Streamer Stage 2, probably the best bass Warwick make in my opinion.

Exceptionally snappy, suits all styles, amazing necks and the sounds......... in the words of Macho Man...... OH YEAAAAAAH!!!!

Lovely Bass! I much preferred my Streamer LX to the Stage One I owned. These really are stonking value.

Pleasantly surprised that as many people hold the LX basses in as high esteem as the way more expensive NT models!

      SOLD
I purchased this bass from most excellent Basschater @Osiris in January, for reference here's his original advert...
30.5" short scale Warwick Corvette. 24 frets, passive MEC pickups. The sale also includes the Warwick truss rod tool, not pictured. It has three small dings, all on the rear of the bass (see pics 6 and 7). It comes with it's original Warwick gigbag.
The tone of this is what you'd expect from a full scale Warwick, it doesn't have that inherent short scale tubbiness, it sound like its bigger brothers. The controls are volume, blend and individual tone controls for each pickup.
      For sale only, no trades.
Pickup from my gaff or I'm quite happy to deliver to you (dependent on distance obviously) or meet up halfway. Bank transfer preferred.
Any questions or requests for more pics please message me.

Beloved 2013 custom shop Warwick Thumb through-neck 5 string, built for me with the broad neck option and a lovely swirly bubinga pommele body. I'm the original owner, it's never been gigged, never even left my house. No mod's, no marks, regularly waxed, I still have all the tools and certificates and everything works perfectly. I get to play it roughly an hour a week. it's too nice to be an ornament.
On the dodgy bathroom scales, I'm reading high 4's to 5 kilos, not sure if that sounds right, but it's defo on the heavy side and I know people like to know. I'm located in Suffolk and would be happy to travel to meet half way with a serious prospective buyer, or discuss splitting shipping costs etc. Original Warwick hard/flight case is also included  either way

      Thanks

Hi Folks, for sale or trade is my very rare 2010 Warwick  $$ Limited Edition No 30/85. There is a pic of the spec sheet below. This bass has a nice slim very playable neck, all frets and hardware are in good condition. The combination of the Bartolini's and the MEC 3 band circuit is amazing the addition of the mid frequency control turns this into a complete tone beast. Comes with the Warwick tool kit and flight case. Recently strung with Elixir rounds. Weight is 4.5ish Kg on the bathroom scales
Would prefer collection from South West London though I can  also ship at buyers expense. If your interested I am sure we can sort something out. A socially distant try out is also welcome.
I am willing to discuss trades.
      Any questions please ask

      Cheers
      JBP

Warwick LX 6 with Bartolini Pickups made in Germany 1996
The Bass is in good condition. Just some minor scratches and not much of fret wear. Good Sound and nice to play.
I replaced the original MEC EQ with a Glockenklang 2 Band EQ because the MEC made some horrible noise. I ordered a replacement part for the preamp and i send it with the bass.
The Bass is located in Hamburg/Germany. Shipping is possible (...of course!)
