Withdrawn - 2013 Marleaux Consat Custom 4 (£1600)
£1600
Yaxley, Suffolk

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Over the past few months I've had several itches which needed to be scratched and this was one of those shiny things 'I just had to have'.

In reality it hangs on the wall looking too damn pretty, it really should go to someone who is going to use it.

Its a great bass, in great condition (see pics, shout if you would like some more pics) and I have been torn between selling and keeping, but ultimately I do need to reduce the number I have, so I'm not looking for any trades at the moment

Check out the following link for details

https://www.marleaux-bass.com/marleaux-bass_consat_custom.html

I would prefer social distance collection, although I'm happy to drive for an hour to deliver.
I can post, shipping and Insurance will be at the buyers expense

Here is a summary, see pics for weight according to kitchen scales and the width of the nut.

  • Body: Mahogany
  • Top: Bubinga
  • Neck: Maple
  • Neck: Bolt on.
  • Fretboard: Ebony (No Makers)
  • Frets: 24
  • Scale: 34 inches
  • Pickups: Delano SBC
  • Electronics: Marleaux EQ BC3
  • Controls: Master Vol - Pickup Blend - 3-Band Active / Passive
  • Switch: Pickup Split
  • Hardware Finish: Black
  • Tuners: Schaller
  • Colour: Natural
  • Case: Generic Gator
  • Made in Germany

Happy to answer any questions.

Cheers

Neil.

Good spot, many thanks for alerting me to the mistake, would hate to mislead anyone.

I've uploaded a new picture with the weight in Kg's, its 3.302kg.

Well, 1 ml = 1 gr. So in a sense that was correct... I guess 😁

Very, very nice 3302 ml of bass, in any case. GLWTS

lol :)

Very nice bass you got there though with 3.302 ml it might take too much space.

On the other hand  it's pretty and light, and being a Marleaux sure it plays and sounds nicely!

1ml of water is 1g.

Other density liquids are available.

That is a lovely bass. I had a 5 string for many years but had to sell as I had to move to really lightweight basses.

Marleaux build quality is amazing. Right up there with the likes of Fodera despite not costing anywhere near that much.
